Charges have been filed following a fatal crash last month in Gates.
Police say Jerry Moore has been charged with criminal negligent homicide in connection with the death of Paul Laudico.
Laudico’s vehicle was rear ended by a garbage truck driven by Moore on February 3rd on Spencerport Road.
Police say at the time of the accident, Moore was looking down at his cell phone, which was propped up in a cup holder, and watching a video. Moore was released on an appearance ticket.
