3 Injured in Rochester Shooting, Chase

Rochester police say three people were hurt in a shooting and a subsequent police chase on the city's northside.

Officers heard gunfire around 6 a.m. near Hudson Avenue and Ernst Street.

A man was shot several times, but is expected to survive.

Police chased an SUV from the scene, until it crashed less than a mile away on Ferncliffe Drive.

A man and a woman in the vehicle were hospitalized with leg injuries.

So far, no one has been charged.

Gunfire was heard at the same intersection on Hudson when crowds gathered there on at least two nights last week.

A woman was wounded.
