Congressman Joe Morelle has cast votes in favor of two gun control bills.
Both passed the House yesterday and head now to the Senate.
One would require background checks for gun purchases from unlicensed or private sellers.
The other would extend the background check review period from three days to ten.
Morelle calls the bills "common sense" reforms.
