NYS Easing Quarantine Rules for Out of State Travelers

The state is easing quarantine rules for travelers ahead of Easter.

Starting April 1, domestic travelers will no longer be required to quarantine after entering New York from another state or U.S. Territory.

While no longer required, the state health department still recommends quarantine as an added precaution.

Mandatory quarantine remains in effect for international travelers.

And all travelers must continue to fill out the Traveler Health Form.

The state says travelers should continue strict adherence to all safety guidelines -- including daily symptom monitoring for two weeks.
