Gov. Cuomo Apologizes Publicly After Being Accused of Sexual Harassment

Governor Cuomo is not going to resign after three women accused him of inappropriate comments or unwanted touching.

Speaking publicly for the first time about the scandal, Cuomo said he fully supports a woman's right to come forward but claims he has never touched anyone inappropriately. He added that today is not a day for politics, and he is going to do the job that New Yorkers elected him to do.

Cuomo said he never meant to make anyone feel uncomfortable and he is "truly and deeply" sorry for it.

The governor said he will fully cooperate with the attorney general independent review of the allegations. He pleaded with New Yorkers to "wait for the facts" to come out of the government review before forming an opinion.
