A Manchester man has been arrested for an assault on an Ontario County sheriff's deputy at Eastview Mall.
It happened around 6:30 last night when deputies called to check on a suspicious person.
Joseph Hobbs allegedly spit on the deputies and threw something at a deputy -- causing a cut on the deputy's head.
Hobbs is charged with assault, resisting arrest and harassment.
