The state will allow nursing home visitors starting Friday.
State Health Commissioner Doctor Howard Zucker says testing for visitors will be based on area COVID-19 positivity rates.
If a county's positivity rate is between 5 and 10 percent, testing for visitors will be required.
If the positivity rate exceeds 10 percent, visitation in that county will not be permitted.
