Rochester's oldest movie theater is closing for good.
The Cinema Theater on South Clinton Avenue opened in 1914 and is one of the oldest continuing operating movie theaters in the country.
In a message on its website, the owners say their lease was up and they couldn't commit to another term -- given the current climate.
They've been talking to other parties that may be interested in taking over the business but nothing is certain.
