Monroe County Executive Adam Bello says the county is not currently expanding the eligibility for the COVID-19 vaccine -- even though the governor says it can.
The governor is leaving it up to local governments to open up eligibility under Phase 1B -- for people such as restaurant workers or taxi and Uber drivers.
But Bello says supplies of the vaccine aren't adequate for the people who are already eligible.
Bello says he hopes supply of the vaccine will increase over the next several months.
