Authorities say a quick-thinking neighbor helped two people get out of their burning house in Phelps.
The fire broke out last night at 58 William Street.
The neighbor saw the flames coming from the garage, called 911 and helped the two people escape.
No one was hurt, but the house is uninhabitable.
The fire is under investigation, but the cause does not appear to be suspicious.
