Former Rochester Police Chief La'Ron Singletary will give his public testimony about the handling of the Daniel Prude case on Friday morning at 9:30.
He will give a deposition to the City Council's Independent Investigation Committee, and it will be streamed live on the City Council YouTube and Facebook pages.
Singletary was fired by Mayor Lovely Warren in September, soon after the public release of the police video of Prude being restrained last March.
Warren alleged she wasn't adequately informed about the case, while Singletary maintained he did notify her.
Singletary is suing the City over his firing, claiming Warren asked him to withhold truthful information.
