The National Rifle Association has lost a bid to toss a lawsuit brought by New York State Attorney General Letitia James.
In the lawsuit, James alleged financial mismanagement by top NRA officials.
She says executives used millions of dollars for luxury travel and dining.
A New York City judge will continue to oversee the case, and James hopes to bring it to trial early next year.
The NRA has filed for bankruptcy and plans to relocate to Texas.
