Another big spike in COVID-19 related deaths in Monroe County.
The Monroe County Health Department is reporting 39 COVID-19 related deaths bringing the death toll to 841. These deaths occurred between December third and January 14th. There were 363 new cases since the last update, bringing the 7-day rolling average of new cases is 434 new cases per day. The positivity rate is down a tick, to 6.3 percent.
