Monroe County Legislator Joe Morelle Jr. is running for Irondequoit Town Supervisor.
The announcement comes one day after fellow Democrat David Seeley announced he would not be running for another term.
Seeley today endorsed Morelle.
Morelle has served in the county legislature for eight years. He is an executive with Wilmorite and is the son of Congressman Joe Morelle.
