Rochester police say one man is dead after a shooting in the area of North Clinton and Clifford Avenues yesterday afternoon.
Police were called to the area about 1:45 and found the victim, who had been shot in the upper body.
He died after being taken to the hospital.
Police are also investigating a stabbing that took place about a block away from the shooting scene.
A woman was stabbed in the 900 block of North Clinton north of downtown after a fight broke out at a Laundromat.
She's expected to recover, and police say the incidents don't seem to be related.
