COVID Outbreak Reported After Geneva Funeral

The Ontario County Health Department is issuing a warning to people who attended a recent funeral in the City of Geneva...after several people who were there tested positive for COVID-19. So far officials say it's a cluster of ten cases.

The funeral was held on the morning of December 11th at St. Paul's Full Baptist Church on East North Street in Geneva. Contact tracers are trying to track everyone who was there and who they may have been in contact with.

The ten-day post exposure period has elapsed, so the health department is encouraging funeral-goers to watch for symptoms, isolate immediately if they begin to fell sick and call Ontario County Public Health. They say you should consider getting tested for COVID if you attended that funeral.
