Nguyen Released From Prison

The woman found guilty of supplying William Spengler with the firearms he used in the West Webster Fire Department ambush is now living at a halfway house in Pittsburgh, PA.

Dawn Nguyen has reportedly been released from prison and is now at a Residential Reentry Management field office in Pittsburgh, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons website.

Nguyen was sentenced to eight years in prison for providing the guns Spengler used to shoot four firefighters in West Webster on Christmas Eve in 2012.

Earlier this year she had requested to be released from prison and be placed on home confinement for the rest of her sentence because of COVID-19.

A U.S. District Court Judge in Rochester denied her motion.
