The Monroe County Health Department says there are 588 new confirmed coronavirus cases between Saturday and Sunday.
There were no new deaths.
Positive tests are still averaging 8.8 percent over the past week.
Since the start of the pandemic, there have been more than 27,000 confirmed cases in the county and 429 deaths.
In the nine nearby counties, another 338 have died.
The percentage of hospital beds available in the region is 31 percent.
