Gov. Cuomo Hopeful the State Can Avoid a Shutdown

Governor Cuomo says he's hopeful New York won't have to go on pause again like it did in the spring due to COVID-19. He said the answer will be determined by what New Yorkers do in the coming weeks.

Cuomo said the COVID positivity rate is still concerning in some regions of the state including in the Finger Lakes Region.

Meanwhile, Governor Cuomo says more COVID vaccines are headed to New York state next week. He says 346,000 Moderna doses will be arriving, with the state controlling the dispersal. In addition, he says 19,000 New Yorkers have already been vaccinated.
