The Penfield Central School District is transitioning to full remote learning starting tomorrow following a rising number of COVID-19 cases.
The district says they have seen an increase in the number of students and employees who have come down with COVID while outside of school.
They also say their transportation department has been particularly hit hard.
School officials say the move to remote learning is temporary and they hope to be back to their hybrid model by January 4th -- after the holiday break.
