The owner of the Close School of Music on West Ridge Road in the Town of Parma has been indicted by a federal grand jury on child porn charges.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of NY, a grand jury returned a 74-count indictment against Philip Close charging him with 61 counts of production of child pornography, and 13 counts of possession of material containing child pornography involving prepubescent minors.
Federal prosecutors say last December the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint from a mother who found a camera attached to the toilet in the bathroom, while her two children were taking lessons.
Authorities say Close produced videos including a total of 61 minor victims. Close will be arraigned on the charges on Monday.
