Monroe County Republican Chairman Bill Napier has announced that he has stepped aside from his position as chairman of the Monroe County Republican Committee.
Tuesday, the state GOP has announced Napier will serve as the Finger Lakes Regional Finance Vice-Chairman.
Napier says even though he is stepping down as chairman he will continue to assist Republican efforts locally and in his new capacity as Finger Lakes Regional Finance Vice-Chair.
Town of Chili Leader Bernie Iacovangelo will serve as acting Chairman pending official confirmation at a Convention of the County Committee within the next 45 days.
