The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office says they'll test 100% of inmates for COVID-19 inside Monroe County Jail, starting immediately.
COVID-positive inmates, as well as presumptive-positive, will be housed together.
This comes after 70 inmates at the jail have tested positive for the virus.
Sheriff Todd Baxter says he hopes the move will help stop the current outbreak at the jail.
