The Monroe County Democratic Committee says it has complied with a subpoena and a search warrant from the District Attorney’s Office.
The Committee says it received the subpoena November 20 and turned over documents.
The purpose of the inquiry isn't clear.
However, a Committee statement says new Chairman Zach King was presented in October with information about prior decisions and agreements. That led to discussions with the State Board of Elections, and Committee made that information available to interested government agencies.
Former chair Brittaney Wells left in September to become Mayor Lovely Warren's chief of staff.
