Despite all the warnings about limits on Thanksgiving gatherings, Governor Cuomo says no one was ticketed or fined for having more than ten people in their homes.
Many local sheriffs had said they would not enforce the limit.
Cuomo says the state will emphasize the need for the limit in a public education campaign, but it can't really be enforced.
More than a dozen other states set similar limits to slow the spread of the coronavirus.
