Visitation at the Monroe County Jail is on pause as coronavirus numbers continue to climb in Monroe County.
The Sheriff’s Office says in-person social visitations have been suspended indefinitely because parts of Monroe County are now in an orange zone as designated by the state.
Officials say professional and essential visits are still allowed.
The Sheriff’s office says additional phone calls are being offered to inmates and video visitations can also be scheduled online.
