Cuomo Warns Parts of Rochester in Danger of Being Designated an Orange Zone

Governor Cuomo is sounding the warning about COVID-19 in Rochester.

He says parts of the City of Rochester will become an orange zone, if case rates remain high.

Cuomo does say it's not too late to get the positivity rates under control and ward off orange zone restrictions.

He also says he's leaning toward keeping schools open regardless, in grades K through 8, because the infection rates in those grades are lower than the surrounding communities.

Statewide, there were nearly 6-thousand COVID-19 cases Saturday, and about 53-hundred Sunday.
