The Former Webster coach whose rape trial last year ended with a not guilty verdict, is reportedly moving forward with plans to sue.
Kali Watkins has reportedly filed a notice of claim against Webster Police, the Town of Webster and the Webster school district, alleging they were negligent and reckless in the wrongful investigation, arrest, and prosecution of the case against him.
Watkins was accused of raping a 14-year-old girl on the JV girls’ basketball team in the girls' locker room at Webster Schroeder, but he was found not guilty last summer.
Watkins is reportedly seeking two million dollars in damages.
