State Lawmakers and Judges Likely Won't be Getting Raises

The state commission that considers pay raises for state lawmakers and judges has recommended against raises for the next three years.

That recommendation will become official policy, unless the state legislature meets before January 1 to vote on raises. The legislature is not expected to do so.

Governor Cuomo is already scheduled to get a $25,000 raise next year bringing his salary to $250,000.

Pay for legislators starts at $110,000.
