Monroe County COVID-19 Cases Down from Record High

Monroe County's COVID-19 numbers are down from yesterday's record high.

The Health Department reports 187 new confirmed cases of COVID-19.

Once again, no new deaths have been reported.

206 people in the Finger Lakes Region are hospitalized, 40 of them are in ICU

The 7-day rolling average of new cases is 257 new cases per day, with an average positivity rate of 4.63%.

If that average stays above 4% for one more day, the current "yellow zone" could be designated an "orange zone."

If that happens, schools in the zone could go remote-only, and non-essential businesses could be closed.
