COVID Testing Beginning in Several Monroe Co. School Districts

COVID testing has begun in several suburban school districts in Monroe County.

Most of the county is in the state's yellow zone, requiring that 20 percent of students and staff must be tested per week.

The Webster school district says 768 people were tested yesterday without a single positive result. Rush-Henrietta did 300 tests with one positive. And all 73 tests in Pittsford were negative. Testing in the Greece schools begins today.

West Irondequoit will offer drive-thru testing for kindergarten through sixth grade families tomorrow night.
