The Twins informed the Wings ownership they will no longer be the class AAA affiliate. It's part of an overhaul of minor league baseball and the MLB big league clubs for more geographically friendly affiliates.. The Wings and Twins would have 18 seasons together before Covid-19 wiped out this years Red Wings Season.
