Gov. Cuomo Announces Parts of Monroe Co. are Dealing with Micro-Clusters

Governor Cuomo says parts of Monroe County are now dealing with 'micro-clusters' of COVID-19. That includes the City of Rochester, and the Towns of Greece, Irondequoit, Webster, Penfield, Perinton, East Rochester, Pittsford, Brighton, Henrietta, Chili and Gates.

Cuomo says the micro-clusters are now under yellow zone restrictions, which means gatherings have to be reduced to 25 people maximum, indoor or outdoor dining has to be reduced to only four people per table, houses of worship can only operate at 50 percent capacity, schools can stay open but there has to be increased testing of students, teachers and staff.

Parts of Erie and Onondaga counties are also dealing with 'micro-clusters.'

Right now the statewide positivity rate including the micro-cluster zones is at 2.8 percent.
