City Steps Up Anti-Violence Police Patrols

City officials are addressing recent violence in the city. Mayor Warren says over 60 percent of the shootings in the city of Rochester are due to ongoing interpersonal disputes.

Rochester Police Chief Cynthia Herriot Sullivan says there has also been a big increase in the number of shootings overall.

Mayor Warren says there needs to be an end to the revolving door of repeat offenders and that is why the city is expanding the Pathways to Peace organization, and beefing up police patrols.
