Webster police are clarifying the details about the shooting early yesterday morning on Gravel Road.
Police say it was not a home invasion. The shooting happened in and/or near a detached outbuilding on the property.
The homeowner shot the apparent intruder around 1:30 a.m. The person was hospitalized in critical condition.
Police are asking neighbors with security cameras to let them know if their cameras caught any images that might help the investigation.
So far, no charges have been filed.
