There has been a spike in coronavirus cases at the DeMay Living Center in Newark.
Officials say there have been 61 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 at the nursing home, 47 cases are residents and 14 are staff. Four of the 47 residents are hospitalized.
The Wayne County Health Department says their initial investigation has led them to believe that the cases are linked to the spread from one or more staff members to the residents.
Rochester Regional Health released a statement saying in part that they continue to follow all guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the New York State Department of Health to stop the spread of COVID-19.
