UPDATED: A reward is being offered for more information that leads to an arrest in connection with the investigation into the mass shooting last month on Pennsylvania Avenue.
The Rochester Police Department and the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are offering an up to $10,000 reward for information in the case.
Nineteen-year-olds Jarvis Alexander and Jaquayla Young were killed and 14 people were wounded when an argument at a backyard party turned into a gunfight.
James Alexander, the father of Jarvis Alexander, spoke today urging anyone to come forward with information in the case, saying "To those who have information about this incident that claimed those lives that night and the other people that were injured, I'd just like you to put yourself in our shoes..."
RPD Captain Frank Umbrino says there were over 200 people at the party. He says they are looking for more information before making any arrests in the case, but did say they have persons of interest in the case.
Umbrino says their investigation has led them to believe that Alexander and Young were just innocent victims, in the wrong place at the wrong time.
