NYS Considering Changes to COVID-19 Travel Advisory Guidelines

New York State is considering making changes to its policy of having some travelers quarantine once they arrive here.

Right now, people from dozens of states with high COVID-19 rates are being asked to isolate themselves for two weeks in order to keep the virus from spreading.

However, enforcement has been difficult since questioning everyone who enters New York is considered impractical.

One idea is to use coronavirus tests that can quickly tell if someone has the illness.
