Former Congressman Chris Collins has reported today to federal prison in Florida.
He is set to serve at least 17 months behind bars after pleading guilty to federal insider trading charges.
Collins released a letter yesterday criticizing both the prosecution and the judge -- saying he should've been allowed to spend his sentence under home confinement.
Prosecutors have disagreed with that argument, saying it's important for people to see justice served.
