Cluster of COVID-19 Cases at Nazareth College

Nazareth College is dealing with a cluster of COVID-19 cases. According to a letter from college President Beth Paul, the school was notified today of 19 positive cases within the past two days related to one student event that took place off campus. Paul says 60 people have been identified as being in close contact with those who have tested positive, and are being quarantined.

There are also two unrelated individual cases, bringing the total number of positive cases to 21.

Paul also announced that over the next two weeks the college will be implementing guidelines to slow the spread of coronavirus, including limiting on campus gathers to ten people or less, closing lounges, kitchens and gathering areas in residence halls and baring off-campus social gatherings.
