Another SUNY School Shifts to Remote Learning Due to COVID-19

Another SUNY school is temporarily shifting to remote learning because of the increase in COVID-19 cases on campus.

SUNY Cortland now has 101 confirmed cases which is one more than the threshold requiring a halt to in-person classes and activities.

Dorms will stay open.

SUNY Cortland will retest every student for the virus and increase enforcement of the new safety standards which took effect last week.

Students who violate safety guidelines will face immediate suspension and possible dismissal and loss of athletic eligibility.

Student groups that violate the rules will be banned.
