A Livonia man is facing charges for arson following a fire last month on Spring Street.
The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office says they have arrested 20-year-old Wyatt Garofalo of Livonia for intentionally setting a garbage can on fire, which was sitting on the steps of a building on Spring Street on Sunday.
Authorities say the fire damaged the steps and door of the building but was quickly extinguished.
Garofalo was charged with third degree arson, criminal mischief and endangering the welfare of a child for allegedly setting the fire in the presence of a 13-year-old.
