The Rochester Police Department is investigating after a suspicious item was found at a gas station in the area of Winton Road and Atlantic Avenue. Officers responded to the Mobile at 575 North Winton Road around 3 a.m. on Thursday for the report of a suspicious vehicle. Officers noticed a suspicious item inside the vehicle. The bomb squad was called to the scene. The roads have since been back opened to commuters.
