Cuomo Granting More Help to Homeowners and Renters Affected by Coronavirus

Governor Cuomo is granting more help to homeowners and renters who have been affected by the coronavirus crisis.

His new executive order extends an existing eviction moratorium, and it protects homeowners who can't pay their mortgages from foreclosure.

The current protections were set to expire in October but have now been pushed to January 1st.

The governor says he hopes the extension provides New Yorkers with some stability in their lives.
