More than 200 non-teaching employees of the Rochester City School District are now out of a job.
The School Board voted unanimously to approve the layoffs of 221 workers, mostly in security and food service.
Their union head says the employees layoff notices last week.
Rochester schools remain in remote learning during at least this first quarter of the school year.
