Governor Cuomo is urging businesses that are still shut down by the COVID-19 pandemic to remain patient.
Movie theaters and concert venues have been asking for months to be able to reopen. But the governor said yesterday conditions in New York aren't normal enough yet for that to happen. Businesses that have been allowed to reopen are following health and safety protocols.
