Tri-state authorities are removing six states from the COVID-19 quarantine list, while Puerto Rico has been added back.
California, Hawaii, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, and Ohio have all now been removed from the list.
Travelers are required to self-isolate for 14 days if they return from any of the 30 restricted areas within the country.
Some have expressed concern that out-of-state travel could contribute to an uptick in cases, while so far there hasn't been a local surge in cases following Labor Day gatherings, which some experts predicted.
