The fall semester is off to rocky start on some SUNY campuses.
SUNY Chancellor Jim Malatras has suspended in-person classes at SUNY Oneonta because of a spike in coronavirus cases.
He says 20 students tested positive after large parties last week. Since then, testing of the 3,000 students on campus has found 105 cases.
All classes at Oneonta are switching to online instruction for at least two weeks.
Meantime, the University at Albany has suspended four students who ignored safety protocols at off-campus parties over the weekend.
