Sheriff Thomas Dougherty says 31-year-old William Myhand kicked in the door of the woman's home when she wouldn't let him him, with the door hitting her in the head. He took her car keys and stole her car. The woman was treated at F.F. Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua.
The stolen car was found the next day in Rochester, but Myhand wasn't located until this week, when he was arrestd in the Syracuse area by Onondaga County Deputies. Myhand was returned to Livingston County and is being held without bail because of his past record. He's charged with robbery, burglary, grand larceny, criminal mischief and assault.
