Rochester Police are working two separate incidents involving explosive ordinance on Friday evening -- both in the same part of the city.
Police say the locations are 420 Magnolia Street....and 261 Roslyn Street....both in the Genesee Section of Rochester.
On Magnolia Street, a roofing contractor found what appears to be a military mortar round in an attic. Police have secured the area and the bomb squad is dealing with it. People are being asked to stay clear of the area.
The second incident began when a family member was cleaning out a house for the resident and came across what appears to be a live grenade in the basement. The caller moved the grenade to the back yard and called police. The bomb squad is deployed to that area as well and it has also been blocked off.
